WIFI Access

The San Diego Community College District offers WiFi access on all campuses within every building, classroom, office spaces, study areas, and outside areas.

To connect to WiFi as a student:

  1. Go to your WiFi settings and select "SDCCD-Campus-Connect".
  2. Enter your 10 digit student ID number.
  3. Enter your password (the same as the mySDCCD portal).

To connect to WiFi as a staff/faculty member:

  1. Go to your WiFi settings and select "SDCCD-Campus-Connect".
  2. Enter your district email address and the password associated with it.

To connect to WiFi as a guest:

  1. Go to your WiFi setting and select "SDCCD-Campus Connect-Guest".
  2. You will be asked to register on the log in page.
  3. Access is granted for up to a maximum of 4 hours. 

Computer Access

The San Diego Miramar College Library has 82 desktop computers. The main computer station can be found to the left of the Circulation Desk after entering the library. In order to log in:

  • You must be a student currently taking classes for the semester at either San Diego Miramar, Mesa, or City College.
  • You will need to know your student identification number that you will enter for the username.
  • Your password will be your last name with the first letter capitalized.
  • After the first log in you will be prompted to set your own unique password that you will use moving forward.

Reference librarians (at the Reference Desk) can assist students in using the library's online research tools and electronic resource collections.  Help in utilizing general software applications (not specific to library research) is available from the Academic Success Center.
