Laptop Checkout Policy

- To be eligible for Miramar library laptop loan, you must be currently enrolled in at least one Miramar class and have no outstanding fees on your student account.
- You can request a laptop online to be sure it will be available for you when you come to pick it up at the library.
- Please note: Only one library laptop loan is permitted per student across the SDCCD campuses (Miramar College, Mesa College, & City College).
- Miramar College does not provide technical assistance for laptops that are checked out to students. Laptops that students check out are considered a personal device for the duration of the checkout period. Students may configure and/or install software however they wish, but as with a personal laptop, students will need to arrange their own technical support if any is needed.
- Laptop computers (and calculators) cannot be returned in the bookdrop.
Details regarding fees for lost or late technology returns can be found on the Policies & Guidelines page.
