San Diego Miramar College and the San Diego Unified School District’s Title VI & Johnson O’Malley Indian Education Program are collaborating to host the first ever Powwow on the Miramar College campus. The Powwow will take place on Saturday, March 15 at Hourglass Field, located off Black Mountain Road in Mira Mesa.

Longtime Miramar College Foundation Board member René McKee has been selected to serve as the next president of the San Diego Miramar College Foundation Board of Directors. In a unanimous vote taken at the Feb.

Over a hundred people took part in a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of the newly expanded Veterans Resource Center (VRC) at San Diego Miramar College.

Paul Johnson, Vice President and Business Relationship Manager for U.S. Bank, has been selected as the newest community board member to serve on the San Diego Miramar College Foundation Board of Directors. In a unanimous vote taken at the Feb. 19, 2025 foundation board meeting, Johnson was elected to a 3-year term.
