A cohort of 43 students will begin their journey toward attaining a baccalaureate degree in Public Safety Management this fall at San Diego Miramar College. The College is the latest two-year public institution in California to offer a 4-year degree after receiving approval from the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office in October of 2023.
Miramar College students now have a new, more affordable path to earning bachelor’s degrees online, supported by a new partnership with Arizona State University.
The UCLA Samueli School of Engineering featured Miramar College alum Zachery Joseph. Joseph transferred to UCLA to forge a path in AI engineering. Read more here.
Students from San Diego Miramar College’s Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and Fire Academy programs demonstrated their commitment to service and community engagement by volunteering in a campus clean-up at Lincoln High School on August 7. The effort was part of preparations to launch Lincoln High School’s Fire Program for the upcoming academic year.
