California Senator Adam Schiff will speak at San Diego Miramar College’s May 15 Commencement Ceremony held on Compass Point. The commencement ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. Check in for graduates begins at 8 am in K1-Student Services Building. Graduates will begin lining up at 9 a.m. with the procession starting at 9:45 a.m.
Juan Reynoso has been named Director of the Native American Student Support & Success Program (NASSSP) at San Diego Miramar College. Miramar College will host its Second Annual Youth & Social Powwow, a community celebration honoring Native American culture, identity, and intergenerational connection. The event is presented in partnership with the San Diego Unified School District Title VI Indian Education Program, which provides cultural, academic, and community support services to American Indian and Alaska Native students throughout the district.
