San Diego, known for its beautiful coastline and rich cultural heritage, also boasts a thriving educational landscape, particularly in the realm of Child Development. At the forefront of this is San Diego Miramar College's comprehensive Child Development program.

The Board of Commissioners of the Associate Degree Commission of the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) has granted national accreditation to the Associates of Science degree in Entrepreneurship at San Diego Miramar College.

Miramar College will host its annual commencement ceremony Friday, May 17 at 10:00am on Compass Point.

Congratulations to the Miramar College diesel technology duo of Anna Rigby and David Barrios-Diaz on their showing at this year's California Skills USA competition! Anna was awarded the silver medal and David was awarded the gold medal. David will now be representing the state of California at the Skills USA National Competition in Atlanta, GA in June 2024.

You’ve probably heard the term student-athlete bantered around. A Miramar College trio more than puts “student” into that term.

Miramar College is a proud recipient of the 2024 Career Innovation Award from The Career Leadership Collective. Mona Patel and Arni Neff from Career Education represented the college to receive the award on April 23, 2024 in Austin, TX. The team at The Career Leadership Collective was impressed by Miramar College's innovative and equitable practices that the Career Education team is leading such as the Discover Series events which include Discover Your Passion, Discover Your Drive and Discover Your Superpower.

10 News was on campus April 26 to exam the basic needs programs supported by Miramar College. The station profiled student Nomad Pallek and his struggle to overcome homelessness and food insecurity as a community college student.

With registration by appointment now open for the Summer and Fall 2024 terms, the San Diego Community College District has launched a new Class Search 2.0.
