Fox 5 Covers Kumeyaay Flag Raising Ceremony

In honor of Native American Heritage Month, Miramar College held a Kumeyaay flag raising ceremony on Nov. 4 in front of the Administration Building. The College hopes to one day add a third flag pole so that the Kumeyaay Flag can fly permanently over campus. The ceremony featured several student speakers, bird singers and members of the local tribe. It was covered by Fox 5 San Diego.

It's Flu Season! What Should I Do? How Can Miramar Health Services Help?

The CDC recommends that the best time to get a flu vaccine is now! (Sept-October). We are promoting FREE FLU shots now, while supplies last, to help avoid illness especially near finals. The protection will peak weeks following flu and COVID-19 vaccination and remain effective for five months or longer.

NBC7 Covers Miramar College Polling Location

During each election, Miramar College is a polling location for the San Diego Registrar of Voters. Ballots can be cast or dropped off on campus. The polling place is located in K1-107 on the ground floor of the K1-Student Services Building. On Saturday, October 26, NBC 7 stopped by campus to interview Associated Student Government Vice President X Ruiz.
