Australia Study Abroad Program 2027

The Fire Protection and Technology program is excited to announce the opportunity for a Study Abroad program in January 2027 for students enrolled in the FIPT 120 - Firefighter Safety and Survival class.

Designed for students seeking global experience, the program provides direct engagement with international firefighter training, advanced survival skills, and diverse emergency-response methods. It is intended to strengthen career readiness by opening doors to international professional networking and resume-building experiences.

Please complete this Interest Form if you are interested in joining the January 2027 FIPT 120 Study Abroad trip to Australia. This survey is intended to measure student interest only and does not commit you to participation. Students who complete the form will receive informational session details at a later date.

Estimated program cost is approximately $3,335-$4,120 (excluding airfare, meals, visa fees, some local transportation, or optional upgrades). All costs are estimates and subject to change. Costs may decrease if enrollment exceeds 25 students. Grant and scholarship options may be available to students who wish to participate.
