Miramar College President Dr. Wes Lundburg was named to the list of Top 500 Most Influential People in San Diego for 2024 by San Diego Business Journal. Dr. Lundburg has been president at San Diego Miramar College since 2020. His biography can be found on page 30 of the link provided.

In honor of Native American Heritage Month, Miramar College held a Kumeyaay flag raising ceremony on Nov. 4 in front of the Administration Building. The College hopes to one day add a third flag pole so that the Kumeyaay Flag can fly permanently over campus. The ceremony featured several student speakers, bird singers and members of the local tribe. It was covered by Fox 5 San Diego.
