EDUCATION: Miramar College Investing $48M to Meet Aviation Workforce Demand

Miramar College has an auxiliary aviation center at Montgomery Field which will undergo a $48 million transformation as a part of the San Diego Community College District’s $3.5 billion bond Measure HH.

San Diego Miramar College is now partnered with TimelyCare to provide students with a new virtual health and well-being platform.

Through the TimelyCare mobile app or desktop website, you can access 24/7 virtual care from anywhere in the United States at no cost.

Miramar College’s Mental Health and Wellness Services Department has received the 2026 Excellence in Mental Health and Well-Being Award from Insight Into Academia magazine.

From Monday, August 3rd through Wednesday, August 19th, construction on the roof of the H building will take place. During this time, the west-side entrance/exit adjacent to the parking lot will be blocked by a crane, and several Lot 2 parking spots as well as the surrounding roadway will be utilized for construction staging. Two other entrances/exits will be maintained at the south and east sides of the building.

Starting on Thursday, July 16th, construction on the roof of the M building will commence. For the duration of the project, the majority of Lot 3 will be utilized by the construction crew. We kindly ask you park in the G3 parking garage during this time.
