On Wednesday, April 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the San Diego Community College District (SDCCD) will welcome a diverse range of employers for its third annual districtwide Career Fair, ranging from city departments to top healthcare organizations. The event will be held outside Compass Point at Miramar College (10440 Black Mountain Rd., 92126) with nearly 400 SDCCD students, alumni, and community members expected to participate.
In March, the San Diego City Council celebrated Women's History Month and the importance women have had in our country's history. Women's History Month acknowledges the achievements of women, the barriers that have been broken, and the challenges that still remain in the face of gender inequality.

San Diego Miramar College and the San Diego Unified School District’s Title VI & Johnson O’Malley Indian Education Program are collaborating to host the first ever Powwow on the Miramar College campus. The Powwow will take place on Saturday, March 15 at Hourglass Field, located off Black Mountain Road in Mira Mesa.
