Deadlines to Apply
Fall 2025
- October 1 - For students transferring to a CSU in Spring 2026 with an Associate in Arts for Transfer (AA-T) or an Associate in Science for Transfer (AS-T).

November 15 - Final deadline to apply and be a Fall graduate.
Fall diplomas are usually mailed in February.
Spring 2026
- February 15 - For students transferring to a CSU in Fall 2026 with an AA-T or AS-T degree.
- March 15 - Deadline to ensure your name appears in the Commencement Program.

April 30 - Final deadline to apply for an Associate Degree or Certificate of Achievement and be a Spring graduate.
Spring diplomas are usually mailed in August.
Summer 2026

July 31 - Final deadline to apply for an Associate Degree or Certificate of Achievement and be a Summer graduate.
Summer diplomas are usually mailed in October.
How to Apply
All students must apply through their mySDCCD Portal.
- Log in to your mySDCCD Portal
- Click Apply to Graduate in the My Success Path widget or under the My Academics tab.
- Check that your degree/certificate is listed.
- You can apply for multiple degrees/certificates at once, but it's not required.
- Click Apply to Graduate and complete the form.
- Double-check your infomration and requested dates before submitting.
- After submitting, review the processing timeline and learn how to register for Commencement.
Important:
- If your degree/certificate is missing, meet with a counselor to confirm your Education Plan.
- Counselors cannot apply for graduation on your behalf-they can only guide you.
