If you have not met with a counselor to establish an Education Plan, get in touch with the counseling office to develop a plan for the degree or certificate of achievement you intend to graduate with
Verify that you have completed all of the degree requirements
Make sure that you have requested a transcript evaluation (see Transcript Evaluation for details)
Step 2—Apply to Graduate
Log-in to your mySDCCD and find the Apply to Graduate link under the My Academics tab. Check out this short how-to video
Once you've applied to graduate, you can track your status under My Academics (see Evaluations for status meanings and timelines)
Step 3 – Register for Commencement
Register to walk in the Commencement Ceremony here. (Registration for this year's ceremony is currently closed)
You will receive a confirmation email within 3-5 business days with details about the event
If you are interested in being our student Commencement speaker, please fill out this application
Step 4 – Get your Grad Gear
Purchase your cap and gown from the Bookstore (Available late April/early May)
If you are graduating, with an associates degree, with a degree applicable GPA of 3.5 or higher, and you are participating in the Commencement ceremony, you will receive an invitation email to visit the Evaluations Office to exchange your teal tassel for a gold honors tassel and cord
Step 5—Review All Information
Check your email frequently for event updates and details

Winter graduates are permitted to march in the Spring Commencement Ceremonies, along with the Spring and Summer graduates
