Campus Events: College Hour

One hour, everyday just for students! There's something for everyone from workshops and presentations to engagement activities and more! Find new interests, meet new friends, and get all the tips for a successful academic year! There's more to college than just going to class. During College Hour, minimal classes are scheduled allowing students to attend various events and participate in all sorts of activities hosted by Miramar College's Academic and Career Pathway (ACP) programs and various Student Services departments and support programs.

Associated Student Government

The Associated Student Government (ASG) offers the opportunity to participate in student government, develop leadership skills, civic engagement such as voter registration drives and coordinate special events. ASG representatives reflect the diversity of the student body and are given the opportunity to recommend policies and procedures. Officers of the ASG are elected at large by the general student body.

Associated Students

For a nominal fee, students can become members of the Associated Students. Membership allows the Associated Student Government to support campus clubs and organizations, create campus-wide activities, and advocate for the student body. All students are welcome to attend weekly ASG meetings.

Campus Committees

There are a variety of campus committees that allow students to represent the student body on matters related to budget, curriculum, marketing, diversity and student services. For more information, visit this webpage or attend an ASG Meeting.

Student Clubs

Student Clubs are an integral part of student life at San Diego Miramar College. Participation provides an opportunity to make friends, pursue special interests, and gain leadership skills. Club membership is open to all currently enrolled Miramar College students. Interested students can also form a new club through the Club Certification Process.
