Textbook Resources

Textbook Search Resource (SDCCD)

The best way for students to find out textbook info for a class prior to receiving the syllabus is to do the following:

  1. Go to the class schedule.

  2. Find the class you are seeking.

  3. Click the blue "details" button, scroll down to books. Then click the blue "books" button.

  4. It will open to a new textbook store tab. You will have to accept conditions, and then it will show any textbooks listed as required or supplementary for the class.

  5. Lastly, if you see a dollar sign crossed out symbol next to/underneath the class title, then the professor has identified there are either no textbooks or OER resources for that class.

In the case there are no textbooks listed, it may be that there are in fact no texts for the class OR that the teacher has not input them yet. So if there are none listed, it's a good idea to reach out via email to the professor.
