Hourglass Field, located on the campus of San Diego Miramar College, is one of 27 Toy for Tots registration and distribution locations chosen by the City of San Diego Parks and Recreation Department. Parents can register their children for the program from now until Sunday, Nov. 22 at Hourglass Fieldhouse.
The REC Innovation Lab at San Diego Miramar College has been named a finalist for the Corporate & Social Responsibility: Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Awards 2020 from the San Diego Business Journal.

The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) has granted national accreditation to the business degree programs at San Diego Miramar College. As such, the business department at San Diego Miramar College represents the first and only two-year business program in the San Diego region to become nationally accredited by ACBSP.
At its annual meeting June 7-9, 2017, the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC) Western Association of Schools and Colleges, the regional accrediting agency that evaluates two-year colleges in California, took action to reaffirm San Diego Miramar College’s accreditation for seven years through 2024.

Twenty-four year old Miramar College graduate Summer Lee admits to not taking her education very seriously as a student at Torrance High School. “I wasn’t very passionate about education back then, and admittedly, I didn’t put forth much effort,” said Lee. Not the type of statement you’d expect to read from a soon to be Ivy League student.
Thanks to the high quality business programs being offered throughout the year, the San Diego Miramar College Business Department has developed a relationship with local employers to assist in securing interns for the upcoming academic year.
Attention students! We have modified our parking in Lot #3 and inside the parking structure on the northeast side of campus. MTS is relocating 60 spots from the northeast parking structure to Lot #3 and near the W building. In exchange, the College will have all spaces available in the northeast parking garage. Please pay attention to the posted signs. We expect to add another 499 spots upon completion of a new parking structure on the south side of campus.
