2008 USA Olympic gold medalist Ryan Millar, one of the greatest middle blockers the United States has produced in the sport of volleyball, is joining the Miramar men's volleyball coaching staff as its first assistant coach.

We wanted to provide information about Health and Mental Health services through the rest of summer and going into the fall semester. Asked to pen a few words of tribute to Dr. Constance Carroll, I immediately agreed and then asked worriedly about how much time I had.  I knew it would be no easy task to put into words the profound effect this educator-scholar-leader has had on my work and the students whose lives my work touches.  I offer this humble effort.

Miramar College will be distributing $825,000 in CARES Act/HEERF funding to eligible students enrolled for the summer 2021 term. Students must download the Edquity App to apply and receive funds. Instructions to download the Edquity app can be found below. Eligible students will receive a $750 grant. Students who are registered in at least one class by July 12, 2021 are eligible to receive these funds. The deadline to apply through the Edquity app is 11:59pm on July 20, 2021.

The Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges, Western Association of Schools and Colleges, at its meeting June 9-11, 2021, reviewed the Midterm Report and related evidentiary materials submitted by San Diego Miramar College. The purpose of the review was to determine the degree to which the institution has made progress in implementing its plans and improving outcomes related to student achievement. After consideration of the Report, the Commission has determined that the institution’s progress is appropriate and has accepted the Report.

Miramar men's volleyball head coach John Landicho will now assume the role of Jets women's head coach volleyball coach, beginning with the upcoming 2021 women's volleyball season.
