What is Job Placement?

Job Placement Services

Job Placement Services is a resource for students to utilize that can assist you in finding employment for your field of study. The Job Placement Coordinator will work with you on reviewing your resume to provide advice on making it industry ready and bridging the introductions between you and local hiring managers.

Job Placement Services is open to all students and recent graduates and is located in Career & Life Design Services in L Building, Library Learning Resource Center, 1st floor.

To schedule an appointment with the Job Placement Coordinator:

  • Complete this Intake Form. (Click the link to download the fillable "Intake Form" and save your answers.)  

  • Must have a current resume in Word format.  For assistance creating or updating your resume please schedule an appointment with a Career Counselor.

  • Must have an activated Handshake Profile.

  • Email the completed Intake Form, your current Resume and include your meeting availability to Alex Ortega aortega001@sdccd.edu.
