What is Job Placement?

Job Placement Services, aligned with the holistic Career & Life Design approach, is a resource available to help students and alumni find empolyment opportunities that match their field of study and long-term goals. The Job Placement Coordinator can support you by reviewing your resume, offering industry informed feedback, and helping facilitate introductions with community partners and employers.

Job Placement Services is open to all current students and recent graduates, located in the Career & Life Design Services office (L-104) on the first floor of the Library Learning Resource Center in the L-Building. 

To Schedule an Appointment with the Job Placement Coordinator:

STEP 1:

Please complete the Job Placement Intake Form. Intake Form 

(Click the link to download the fillable "Intake Form" and save your answers.)  

STEP 2:

Must have a current resume in Word format.

For assistance in creating or updating your resume, please schedule an appointment with a Career Counselor.

Please complete your HANDSHAKE Profile.

(i.e. work history, skills, professional photo, major courses completed).

FINAL STEP: 

Email the completed Job Placement Intake Form, your current Resume and include your meeting availability to Job Placement Coordinator, Alex Ortega, Jr., [email protected]
