Through the support of the federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act, San Diego Miramar College is able to offer emergency financial aid grants to eligible students for specific expenses that are a direct result of the disruption of campus operations due to COVID-19.
P. Wesley Lundburg, an experienced community college leader who for the past five years has been serving as Executive Dean and CEO of the Ammerman Campus at Suffolk County Community College on Long Island, New York, has been named the new president of San Diego Miramar College.

New students are invited to join our Outreach team for a pair of new student orientations to be held July 8 from 1pm-2:30pm and July 14 from 4pm-5:30pm. Both orientations will be held via Zoom with links provided below.

The CCCAA Board of Directors overwhelmingly approved implementation of its Contingency Plan on Thursday, providing a return to intercollegiate athletics for the 2020-21 academic year that shifts all sports, including football, to the spring season.
It’s not what anyone had envisioned when the 2019-2020 academic year began, but San Diego Miramar College hopes to make the best of a bad situation for its graduates. Unable to host an in-person commencement ceremony due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Miramar College will host a virtual ceremony to celebrate its almost 1250 graduates.
Miramar College men's volleyball coach John Landicho was named as part of the coaching staff for the 2020 USA Volleyball Men's Junior A1 National Training Team Program. The roster was announced July 15, 2020 by USA Volleyball.

Our Jets Jump Start series will cover relevant topics over three days, August 10th – 12th from 1pm-2:30pm. Students are encouraged to attend all three days but may also pick and choose day(s) that work best for them.
The Innovation Showcase is the final event of the summer where startup teams will present to industry experts, CEO’s and founders of high-growth startups, other experienced entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and angel investors.
