It’s being called the Really Really Free Farmers Market and it is coming to San Diego Miramar College on Wednesday, Sept. 12 from 10am-2pm or until all the food is gone. The market will be held in front of the K1 Student Services building and will be open to everyone in the Miramar College community.
Students, faculty and staff will need to bring their own bags and a valid college ID. Fresh fruits and veggies will be available.
In an effort to counteract food insecurities for some students, Miramar College continues to offer an Emergency Food Pantry. The food pantry is located in room J-302 near the entrance of the pool. The food pantry will be open Monday-Friday from 9am-3pm during the Fall 2018 semester.
The Miramar College Emergency Food Pantry supplies food, toiletries, school supplies, clothing and pet food to help students succeed.
