At the June 9, 2022 Board meeting, the Board of Trustees unanimously approved a resolution directing the District’s COVID-19 protocols going forward.

Miramar College will be moving to a modified schedule between May 31 – August 12 during which campus operations will only be available Monday – Thursday.  During this period, the campus will be closed on Friday's with the exception of a small number of instructional courses and athletic training activities.  All support service offices will return to a Monday – Friday schedule beginning the week of August 15^th. 

A passion for Biotechnology runs in the family, according to Miramar College student Luc Huynh, who chose to pursue his degree in the field after learning about his cousin’s job at Biolegend.

When Miramar College student Vahide Balbin isn’t occupied with school, work, and family, the 30 year old mother of four likes to spend her time fishing.

In honor of Asian American Pacific Islander Month (AAPI), CBS 8 San Diego featured the story of former Miramar College janitor Jimmy Thai, who immigrated from Vietnam and is now a private sector CEO.

Miramar College basketball player Cameron Barry has quite the college athletic experience to share. A road rarely traveled. One that saw the 22 year-old from Santee, CA complete 30 units during the spring 2022 semester and obtain two degrees from two different colleges at the same time.

For the first time since 2019, a traditional graduation ceremony returns to the Miramar College campus. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the previous two commencement ceremonies have been held remotely, with an additional drive through car-mencement ceremony held in 2021.
