Two Miramar College students have been named semifinalists for the prestigious Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship Award. Calvin Hill and Michael Raska are among 459 semifinalists named across the United States of America.
Miramar College student Sonya Shafir was named a 2023 Coca-Cola Academic Team Bronze Scholar and received a $1,000 scholarship.
This year the Cal Coast Cares Foundation is providing more than $60,000 in scholarships to foster students in San Diego and Riverside Counties to help them pursue their dreams of obtaining a college education! The California Coast Credit Union was founded in 1929 by local educators, and the non-profit Cal Coast Cares Foundation was created in 2015 to continue their legacy by supporting the local education community, including student scholarships and educator grants.
