Current college technology standards are as follows:
Standard PC Workstation
The standard PC minimum specification is shown below. Exact make/model/features may vary:
- Intel/Windows 11 PC
- 16GB RAM
- 256GB SSD Hard Drive
Core business applications/District software is supported on standard Windows 11 PC systems. Faculty/staff requesting alternate products will need management approval.
Standard Classroom Technology
Minimum classroom technology is show below. Additional features such blu-ray, document camera may be installed as needed.
- Podium with house-PC installed meeting minimum specifications
- Extron control system (push-button control of video source)
- 720P or better projection system
Alternatively:
- House PC meeting minimum specifications
- 98" Newline interactive display
Hyflex Rooms
Hyflex technology is an evolving standard and requires more advanced technical skills to utilize effectively. If you are interested in utilizing HyFlex for your course, please work with your dean to identify an exsiting HyFlex room to use and/or to determine if there is enough demand to create another HyFlex space.
