San Diego Miramar College has been selected to receive a $75,000 grant to support Supply Chain Experience to Improve Career Readiness in Underserved Community College Students (SCE Program) at the Southern California Biotechnology Center at San Diego Miramar College (SCBC). This is the second time the Miramar College Foundation has received this grant.

The Fire/EMT program at San Diego Miramar College has entered into a new 4-year agreement with the California Department of  Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL Fire) to provide instruction, training, facilities, equipment and other services for students to the extent of prescribed curriculum in pre-employment, employment and general studies in CAL Fire. The agreement runs Jan. 1, 2021 through Dec. 31, 2024.

Exhibit A: Virtual Welcome Days, two weeks of beginning-of-the-semester, online sessions allowing students to engage with the college community and speak directly with a program or department representatives.
