Respirator Mask Fit Test:

There are a lot of restrictions with respirator masks with OSHA. One of the biggest rules is that employee who need to wear a respirator mask are required to be fitted for one by a health professional. The district has a program setup already. Please contact the OEHS Coordinator for more information. Respirator masks are commonly used in cleaning ceramic room due to silicone dusk, in the chemistry department for handling hazardous chemicals that require it, and in aviation department when spraying solvent that requires it. In addition, the police and fire academy also require staff and students to wear respirator masks in their training programs.
