Guided Pathways Academic & Career Pathways

Your Academic & Career Pathway

Your declared major is what will help you select your Academic & Career Pathway (ACP). ACP's are formed around majors that have much in common, including the courses needed to complete your degree. These ACP's are broad areas that include related majors--so that you can find out about your pathway and career opportunities based on your interest!

Why Choose a Pathway?

Why is it important that students join an Academic and Career Pathway (ACP)?

  • Embedded in the ACP’s are intentional course sequences that can help students achieve their academic, career, and personal goals while reducing the number of excess units that waste time and money and help students have a clear path to follow to graduation
  • Students get exposure to multiple academic majors, helping them to explore their interests and career options while also taking courses that apply to multiple majors without adding excessive units
  • Students become part of a community of like-minded individuals working towards similar academic and career goals

What if you aren't sure that you are in the correct ACP?
