Mental Health Counseling

Welcome to Mental Health Counseling

Mental Health Counseling Services Team

We provide short-term clinical services to help students to optimize their learning and growth and help students decrease stress for academic and personal success. We work with students who are seeking help to learn coping strategies and problem-solving skills. Crisis intervention and referrals are also provided.

We currently offer both in-person and tele-mental health appointments via video-conferencing to currently enrolled students. To schedule an appointment at Miramar College Health Services, call (619) 388-7881. A Mental Health Counselor will follow up with you during business hours to conduct a screening, check if these services are a good fit for you, get the process started, and/or connect you to additional supportive resources.
