  • Explore programs for degrees, certificates, and transfer options.
  • See clear, semester-by-semester roadmaps to stay on track.
  • Watch videos & learn about careers, wages, and job demand.
  • Plan Smart—Meet with a Counselor!

How To Use It

The mapper is an excellent tool that provides short-term guidance. It does not replace your counselor! It should not be used for more than a semester without seeing a counselor.

  • Go to Program Mapper.
  • Select an Academic and Career Pathway.
  • You'll see the Certificates and Degrees Map.
    • This lists the various degrees, certificates, and awards in your pathway.
  • Below that is the Career Explorer
    • This shows you potential careers and occupations with descriptions, job growth predictions, and average expected salary range.
  • To see the various pathway maps, select Career or CSU, UC, CalGETC.

    • To Career: Students who wish to obtain an associate's degree first, no transfer.

    • To CSU, UC, or CalGETC: Students who wish to obtain an associate's degree with intention to transfer towards a bachelor's degree.

  • Be sure to schedule an appointment with Counseling to verify that your courses will help you achieve your goals.
