The Miramar College Foundation announced today that BNBuilders is the 2025 Presenting Sponsor for Invest in Success, its flagship annual fundraiser. The inspiring event brings together leaders in philanthropy, business and civic life to celebrate San Diego Miramar College students and invest in their futures.
The San Diego Community College District recently awarded BNBuilders’ San Diego office the new Performing Arts Center and English/Gallery Building project at Miramar College as part of Measure HH, a $3.5 billion campus modernization bond approved by voters in November 2024.
“Our college has long desired a performing arts facility, and this building will be the realization of so many dreams,” said Lisa Cole-Jones, director, development and entrepreneurship, for San Diego Miramar College. “We are thankful for BNBuilders for taking their commitment to our campus a step further with their generous support of this important fundraiser, ensuring students have the support they need to be successful in their educational journeys.”
Invest in Success will be held on Thursday, October 16, at Tom Ham’s Lighthouse on Harbor Island. Guests will have the opportunity to connect with local changemakers and hear directly from students who have overcome barriers and achieved their goals as part of the Miramar College learning community. Tickets are still available. Event proceeds directly benefit student scholarships and basic-needs support.
The Miramar College Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides a vital pathway for individuals and organizations to invest in the college and its students. Through these partnerships, the Foundation advances San Diego Miramar College’s promise to educate the community’s future business leaders, healthcare workers, scientists, and first responders.
