For the first time since 2019, a traditional graduation ceremony returns to the Miramar College campus. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the previous two commencement ceremonies have been held remotely, with an additional drive through car-mencement ceremony held in 2021. This year’s ceremony will take place Friday, May 20 at 10:00am on Compass Point.
Check-in for graduates begins at 8:00am in K1-107 located in the Student Services Building. Check-in ends at 9:30am. At that time, students will begin lining up for the procession.
Guests are limited to four per student and seating for guests will be on a first-come first-serve basis with seating beginning at 8:45am. For the health and safety of all, it is recommended that students and guests be vaccinated or have a negative COVID-19 test the morning of the ceremony.
Face masks are required for students and guests in attendance. Guests and students are asked to park in lot's 1 & 2 located off of Black Mountain Parkway.
