About Dr. Marie McMahon
Shortly after receiving a Ph.D. in Experimental Research in Anatomy, Physiology and Histology from the Flinders University Medical Centre in South Australia, I began teaching. It started at several local CA Community Colleges here in San Diego until I became a full-time faculty member at Miramar College in January 2003.
Teaching and Learning are synonymous, both are exceedingly enjoyable when done in the right way!
Time spent outside, gardening, exploring nature, enjoying the fine company of family and friends, playing and listening to good music, reading and evaluating ideas are just some of the things I get up to. There is no t.v. in our house, so there are lots of valuable things to do, including taking a ride on the Onewheel.
