Bio
Professor Booth has been serving San Diego Miramar College since 1999 and has been the program lead of the music program since. He has over 23 years of experience teaching many courses, and is the director of the Audio Production and Engineering Program. He has shared the stage with many artists in the Salsa, Latin-Jazz, and Jazz idioms and continues to perform with southern California's top salsa bands and latin-jazz groups. He has performed inside and out of the United States at venues from small clubs to huge salsa festival audiences. Professor Booth studied for six years at Berklee College of Music and two years at The Boston Conservatory. His compositions are mainly published through www.3-2music.com and he is associated with BMI.
