How has Miramar helped you on your educational journey?
I am part of Miramar EOPS/NEXTUP and the counselors in the program have show unconditional encouragement, support , resources that has helped me along the way. As well as the professors who have been nothing but supportive giving amazing advice and resources with career choices, and advice as I move forward with my life.
What is your favorite memory from your time at Miramar?
My favorite memory was taking my English classes and meeting my English professor. She was a mentor to me and supported me through good and tough times while being new to the school / area and life changes that went on in the time I took her class.
Would you have any advice for new students?
Embrace every moment you have while at Miramar! Take advantage of all the help provided to college students! They are all there to help. This is a season of your life where you will meet life long friends and make so many memory’s as you choose your career and continue your school journey!
