COVID -19 Update!
The San Diego Community College District and San Diego Miramar College are opting out of Spring II.
What does this mean? This means that all spring sports that were moved to the Spring II start date have officially been canceled.
San Diego Miramar College continues to plan for a safe return to campus as soon as possible.

San Diego Miramar College student Dania Taki has been named a 2021 Jack Kent Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship Semifinalist. This year’s semifinalists were chosen from a pool of over 1,500 applicants attending 398 community colleges in 44 states and the District of Columbia.
CARES Act funds are now available to students who qualify.
The federal government passed a law called the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. The CARES Act provides financial assistance to students for expenses related to the disruption of their studies due to COVID-19.

Attention May 2021 graduates! Here is a list of important deadline dates for students wishing to apply for graduation.
February 14th - Deadline for students transferring to a CSU in Fall 2021 who are completing an ADT (Associates Degree for Transfer).
March 30th - Deadline to Apply for Graduation and ensure that a name will be included in the Commencement Program.
April 30th - Deadline to Apply for Graduation and be a Spring 2021 graduate
The higher education community, celebrates Financial Aid Awareness Month, in an effort to disseminate financial aid information to students and families about access to federal, state, and institutional student aid.
Miramar College, along with the San Diego Community College District, is celebrating Black History Month with films, Black storytelling, a remembrance of the Tulsa race massacre, and more. In addition, KSDS Jazz 88, which is housed at San Diego City College, will be celebrating Black History Month by shining a light on The Bebop Era with homages to legends such as Dizzy Gillespie, Charlie Parker, and Fats Domino.
