Meet author, Dr. Rudy P. Guevarra Jr., as he discusses his new publication "Aloha Compadre: Latinxs in Hawaii"
Dr. Rudy P. Guevarra, Jr. is a Professor at Arizona State University and the author of the most recent publication, Aloha Compadre: Latinxs in Hawaiʻi.. He is a former UC Berkeley Chancellor’s Postdoctoral Fellow. Rudy is also an avid gardener and heritage cook, and is working on his forthcoming cookbook, The Mexipino Cafe, which traces his family’s Mexican and Filipino culinary traditions through storytelling.
