College is expensive, but it doesn't have to be!
Join the Miramar College Financial Aid and Scholarship Office and the Dreamers Support Office for a brief webinar on how to gain access to scholarships that will help cover the cost of your education! Students will learn how to create a San Diego Miramar College Scholarship Opportunities profile and hear about the many scholarship opportunities available to them regardless of immigration status.
San Diego Miramar College Scholarships
Money for college you don't have to pay back!
Through the generosity of the Miramar Foundation, faculty, staff, departments, campus organizations, and private citizens, the Financial Aid & Scholarship Office is pleased to offer a variety of scholarship opportunities. We encourage all students to apply!
Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis using criteria set by sponsors and donors. Scholarships are available to qualified students based on need, merit, major, and/or educational goals. An announcement of recipients will be made once students are selected and notified, typically by the end of March. The Miramar Scholarship Award Ceremony takes place in April.
To apply for internal scholarships, you will need to create your online profile on the San Diego Miramar College Scholarship Opportunities homepage at sdmiramar.academicworks.com.

There are many scholarships and fellowships that do not require proof of citizenship. Use Immigrants Rising’s List of Scholarships and Fellowships along with additional databases to identify those that you are eligible to apply for. Immigrants Rising regularly updates their list of about 500 scholarships and 100 fellowships open to undocumented folks. Source: Immigrants Rising.
