San Diego Miramar College is a little less than a year away from offering its first ever baccalaureate degree, and the application period is now open for those who would like to pursue a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Public Safety Management. Priority admission runs Oct. 1, 2024-Nov. 30, 2024. Open admission begins Dec. 1, 2024-March 31, 2025.
The Bachelor’s of Science degree in Public Safety Management is a comprehensive program tailored to meet the needs of public safety professionals offering in-depth knowledge in all hazard emergency management and public safety. Students can choose from specializations in law enforcement management or emergency management, allowing one to focus on a specific area of emphasis. The degree program will also allow for students to gain essential skills in leadership, organizational change, and innovation to effectively manage public safety challenges. This program also incorporates relevant industry certifications and enhances ones qualifications in disaster and emergency management planning. Classes begin August 2025.
