Miramar College will award deserving students just over $190,000 at its 30th annual scholarship awards ceremony held on campus April 16. Miramar College students, their guests and families, along with the College’s classified professional staff and faculty, San Diego Community College District officials and community partners will gather in L-105 from 2pm-4:30pm to watch the celebration.
Two-hundred and eight individual recipients will receive 76 scholarships totaling just over $190,000. The Miramar College Foundation will administer the scholarship awards.
The Miramar College Foundation, a California nonprofit public benefit corporation, was officially created on August 21, 1994 and is committed to supporting the diverse population of Miramar College students by raising scholarship funds.
The annual Scholarship Awards Ceremony is organized by the College’s Financial Aid and Scholarship Office.
