Mental Health Services Available for Spring 2022 Semester

Entering the spring semester, Mental Health wants to provide current updates on our services. Miramar’s Mental Health team is here remotely for students through February 22. Our goal is to transition to a hybrid of both tele-mental health and in-person services once we are back on campus. Updates will be provided as we transition.

Mental Health Hours are as follows:

Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Fridays 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Tele-Mental Health Counseling

Miramar’s Mental Health Counseling Center now offers short-term supportive tele-mental health services via ConferZoom videoconferencing & phone to currently enrolled students who are appropriate for this scope of support. If a student is interested in these services, they can call the Student Health Center, information below, and provide their contact information directly or leave a voicemail. A Mental Health Counselor will contact them to follow-up during business hours.

Spring 2022 : Weekly Mental Health Drop-in Hours

Miramar’s Mental Health Team is now offering two weekly Drop-in Hours. This time is an opportunity for currently enrolled students to engage in a one-on-one Zoom with a Miramar Mental Health Counselor for a brief consultation. Students can get information about Mental Health services, tips for stress management, and information about resources. This is an educational opportunity and primarily for drop in support.  It is not a substitution for formal therapy or a crisis/emergency service.
