Miramar College Laptop, Book, and Calculator Check In/Out Event – Jan. 26

Welcome to your Spring 2021 semester.  Miramar College students will have an opportunity to check in/out laptops, books, and/or calculators from Miramar College. Please submit your request by Sunday, January 24, 2021, using the following instructions:

How Students Can Request Materials

1. Navigate to Miramar College Library website.


2. Search for library material(s) in the OneSearch box library catalog

Best method to search by title or specific item student desires

Refine results located on the left panel to only San Diego Miramar College under "Library"

3. Locate the library material(s)

4. Click the title of the book

5. Select mySDCCD Login which will navigate students to a log in page

Only students who are enrolled in the current semester are able to place hold requests via our online catalog

6. Log in with the following

Username: CSID number

Password: Same password a student uses to log in their mySDCCD portal

7. Click "Request" on this page under "Get it"

8. Complete the following contact information in the notes box to reassure that contact information is accurate within our library system

9. Laptop reservation is the same as book reservation.

Type in the search box "Laptop Acer" then choose "Laptop, Acer Aspire 5".

Click on the title then log in with his/her mySDCCD portal username and password and click on "Request"

Checkout will be on a first-come-first-serve basis while supplies last. Only currently enrolled students may checkout laptops and books. Please provide a valid government issued photo ID (e.g., Driver's License, High School ID) along with your CSID during this event. Students will receive a confirmation email confirming their reservation. 

This will be a drive-thru check in/out event only, no walk-ins are accepted. Location will be at the end of the cul-de-sac at the end of Westview Parkway by the N-Administration building and in front of M-Bldg. Students not wearing mask covering their nose and mouth will not be served.  Signs will be posted to direct traffic towards the location under the Miramar College teal canopies.

Our staff will be checking messages (Mon.-Fri., 8:00am-5:00pm) and will do their best to respond by the next business day or sooner, when possible.
