MLA, APA, and Chicago/Turabian citation and formatting

The following links provide information on MLA, APA , Chicago, and Turabian citation and formatting.

MLA (Modern Language Association) is the standard for academic writing in the Humanities, including English and ELAC.

APA (American Psychological Association) and is used in the Social Sciences, such as Psychology and Sociology. 

Chicago: Used in Business, History, and Fine Arts by college professors and researchers. 

Turabian: A simplified version of Chicago for students. 

If you are unsure which format to use for your class or subject, ask your professor.
