SERVICE LEARNING SUPPLY CHAIN EXPERIENCE (SCE) PRE-INTERNSHIP

The Service-Learning Supply Chain Experience (SCE) prepares students for employment in the life sciences industry by providing education and career counseling, job searching skills, laboratory technical skills training and resume building. Students will also participate in an unpaid internship where they will gain work experience in the Miramar Biotech Lab by manufacturing products for customers.

What: Unpaid pre-internship - BIOL 277L Service Learning, 1 unit course (50 hours)
When: Jan 13-Jan 24, 2025 (weekdays), 9:00a-3:00p
Where: Miramar College, but first 4 days will be on Zoom (synchronous)
Program Benefit: Paid industry Lab Tech internships will be offered in spring and summer 2025. SCE completers will receive priority screening for these internships. More Info on Internships
