Special UAT: Indigenous & Undocumented
To honor Indigenous Peoples' Day, the Miramar Dreamers Center is offering a special UAT highlighting the struggles and achievements of Indigenous People and Native Americans who have ambiguous legal status including the many tribal members who are undocumented.
The term ‘Undocu-Ally' refers to any person who is an ally to the undocumented, DACA-mented, immigrant, and refugee communities. Undocu-Allies create safe, affirming spaces for undocumented students and advocate for the advancement of policies to support this special population of learners.
