Research Lecture with Saroj Gourkanti
Saroj Gourkanti (he/him), a graduate student in Biological Sciences at UCSD, will discuss his journey through research from coast to coast and how the celebration of his queer identity has led to the best research experiences. From evolution through cancer, Saroj’s time in various labs has led to his position as the lead zebrafish researcher in the lab of Dr. Sonya Neal. He will also discuss a new research opportunity in the Neal lab for Summer 2023.
