About the Budget and Resource Development Planning Process

The College has an established process for financial planning and budget development within the Budget and Resources Development Subcommittee (BRDS). As part of the College Participatory governance system, BRDS planning and budgeting processes are open to participation by all members of the College community. The Subcommittee also has membership representing all facets of the College, including the Vice Presidents of Administrative Services, Student Services and Instruction; seven faculty representatives, including an Academic Senate designee to the District Budget Council and at least one faculty from Student Services and one faculty from Career Education; four classified professionals, including the Accounting Supervisor and one member from the technology support service area; and one student designated by the Associated Student Government.
