Institutional Self-Evaluation Report
Like all credit colleges, Miramar College is actively engaged in regular accreditation reaffirmation, and is fully committed to participating in that process as a means for making sure we are intentional about continuous improvement. The accreditation reaffirmation process includes a comprehensive site visit from the Accreditation Evaluation team of the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC).
As part of our efforts in the continuing process for accreditation, the Miramar College community works toward improvement in all accreditation standards. Miramar College believes in and embraces a philosophy of continual growth and learning—much like the students we serve—and seeks to identify areas where we can better serve our students and our mission. Part of that ongoing self-improvement process is reaffirmation of accreditation. Accreditation reaffirmation is accomplished through the College’s consistent efforts to create a campus culture that values evidence, collaborative inquiry, and targeted action. It is our hope that the College’s current Institutional Self-Evaluation Report (ISER) reflects Miramar College’s commitment to fulfilling its mission and to promote student success.
The links below provide access to the final ISER and evidence, and correspondence with the ACCJC. A review of these webpages will provide an accurate overview of Miramar College’s commitment to and compliance with accountability standards. It is our hope that this report provides a basis for full confidence in Miramar College’s successes, areas for improvement, and our unwavering dedication to serving the community and student needs of our serving area and the people of California.
