2021 Midterm Report

2021 Midterm Report

In March 2017, Miramar College engaged in a comprehensive site visit from the Accreditation Evaluation team of the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC), receiving affirmation of full accreditation. As part of the continuing process for accreditation, the College is continuously working toward improvement in all accreditation standards. Miramar College believes in and embraces a philosophy of continuous self-improvement, and seeks to identify areas where we can better serve our students and our mission. Part of that ongoing self-improvement process is the accreditation mid-term report, which is captured in these webpages. Accreditation reaffirmation is accomplished through the College’s consistent efforts to create a campus culture that values evidence, collaborative inquiry, and targeted action. The College’s self- evaluation reports reflect Miramar College’s commitment to fulfilling its mission and to promote student success.

The links below provide access to the final mid-term report and evidence, and correspondence with the ACCJC. A review of these webpages will provide an accurate overview of Miramar College’s commitment to and compliance with accountability standards. It is our hope that this report provides a basis for full confidence in Miramar College’s successes, areas for improvement, and our unwavering dedication to serving the community and student needs of our serving area and the people of California.
