Associate of Science Degree Programs

Miramar College's Aviation Operations Program offers two Associate in Science Degrees: Aviation Business Administration and Professional Aeronautics. To receive these degrees, students must successfully pass the following courses as well as meet all general education requirements established by the San Diego Community College District.  See below for a list of requirements and recommended course sequences for Aviation Operations Degrees.  *There are additional class requirements for some certificates and degrees.  Refer to the current college catalog for a complete list of requirements*

For graduation requirements, please see the Miramar College website. This major, along with General Education requirements and electives, (minimum of 60 units), meet the requirements for an Associates Degree.


Certificate of Achievement Programs

For those students who may already possess advanced degrees but are interested in adding an aviation specialty to their resume, the Certificate of Achievement focuses exclusively on aviation related courses. *There are additional class requirements for some certificates and degrees.  Refer to the current college catalog for a complete list of requirements*

To receive a Certificate of Performance, students must pass AVIA 133 Human Factors in Aviation and one of the following courses:

When passed with a C or better, indicates student qualification to take the FAA Private Pilot Knowledge Examination.
