Science Olympiad Draws Thousands
The Science Olympiad returned to Miramar College for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic Saturday, March 3.
Cameron Barry Selected 2023 CCCAA Scholar Athlete
Recently graduated Miramar College men’s basketball player Cameron Barry has been selected as one of just two 2023 California Community College Athletic Association Scholar-Athletes. This honor is the highest bestowed on the more than 24,000 annual participants in the CCCAA.
Miramar College Receives M.E.S.A Grant
San Diego Miramar College received a 5-year M.E.S.A. grant from the state Chancellor’s Office totaling $1.4 million for the creation of a Mathematics, Engineering, and Science Achievement program (MESA).
Summer and Fall '23 Registration Dates Announced
In an effort to allow students more time to plan for their upcoming semester, the San Diego Community College District has moved up its registration dates for the Summer 2023 and Fall 2023 semesters. The key dates are below.
Summer 2023
April 14, 2023-Deadline for priority appointments
April 17, 2023-Class schedule posted online
April 24, 2023-Registration by appointment begins
April 28, 2023-Open registration begins
June 20, 2023-Opening day for primary 8-week summer session

Miramar College to Host Science Olympiad March 4
San Diego Miramar College will host the San Diego Regional Science Olympiad on March 4, 2023. The event is expected to bring over one-thousand San Diego area middle school and high school students to compete in events across the campus.
