EMT Earn While You Learn Academy at Miramar College Featured on CBS8

A partnership between AMR and Miramar College, the Earn While You Learn academy is a 16-week program in which cadets will be trained to become emergency medical technicians (EMT) and will be hired by AMR upon completing the academy and passing a national EMT exam, known as the Registry of EMT’s exam. Miramar College Receives AED Diesel Accreditation

Miramar College received accreditation by the Associated Equipment Distributors (AED) Foundation, a prestigious recognition that underscores the institution's unwavering commitment to delivering top-tier education in the field of diesel technology.

The Miramar Diesel Technology program underwent review from ASE, Automotive Service Excellence and AED, Association of Equipment Dealers.  

Regional Public Safety Institute Receives $500,000 of Federal Funding

The San Diego Community College District (SDCCD) has secured federal funding totaling nearly $2.5 million to finance critical improvements at the San Diego Miramar College public safety training center, new centers supporting student-parents at the San Diego City, Mesa and Continuing Education campuses, and renovation of the restrooms at San Diego College of Continuing Education’s historic Educational Cultural Complex.
